I bought my son a local KB-1 truck when he was 3 and just recently found a floor shift trans. for it. The original is on the column and the shift cable is bad so we looked for years to find this trans. I do need the shift handle/lever as they cut this one off on the top of the trans.
I think mine was missing, anyhow the chassis is now long gone unfortunately. This one was a tonner as well. The original grain box from 1946 became the bed floor.

Only reached 15C today and a bit of a wind but I did get to snooze on the deck so no worries.
My wife has been in her favorite place all day. Planting and weeding and loving every minute of it.
Ordered food from Montana's tonight.
Honey Garlic ribs, cole slaw, garden salad etc.
Can almost taste it.
Have a great evening guys
Sounds good Mark enjoy.

1946 k-3 IH sitting on an s-10 chassis. S-10 had 250,000 on it, still runs good 4.3 v-6! Even has a little a-body in it, the radiator is from a '74 Valiant!

Sweet old truck. Good idea putting it on an S-10 frame I hear that's the best way to be able to drive it and suspension parts are easy to find.
Thanks for the picture.

Old truck got out of the garage today for the first time this year and is running fine. Put the canopy down and tucked the seats in and drove it about 1 mile and nothing feel off so it's good to go.
