Wow must be a large fire I haven't seen the news in a long time.
Good morning, yes most of Alberta is on fire , more fires in northern BC. Majorty human caused .

Looks like the worse year for fires in Canada from all the smoke coming down.
Yup, it seems that most are intentionally started, what the hell is wrong with people.
Some speculation that the Alberta fires were started to affect the upcoming provincial election. I really hope that is not true, but nothing surprises me much these days.
Smoke isn't as bad this morning, likely due to almost no wind right now.
About the same as yesterday here.

I *believe* it was because they had discontinued using the right angle filter adapters, which allowed use of the longer (PH8A and similar) filters in A bodies. Without the adapters, they had to go to a shorter filter to clear everything.
I could be wrong; but it sounds good, right?

Went out in shorts and T shirt and my Mopar jacket this morning around 10.
That was a mistake and just about froze the dangly bits off.
Landed up with jeans and sweatshirt and jacket on when I went out after lunch.
The wind was still blowing and I was sitting on the deck in the sun and my legs got really hot from the sun and my jeans.
So Saturday or Sunday my buddy is coming over and he will adjust the caster enough so I can drive the car or I'll put one of the original wheels and wheel disc on. Should look real funky lol but at least I can drive it

My car came without a right angle filter adapter. Needed one for header clearance with cheap *** appliance headers. The hooker headers I have now do not require a right angle adapter. Think it has to do with oil capacity maybe???????? It’s definitely not a clearance problem. In my owner’s manual it gives the mopar # 3549957 which changes up to Fram PH 43. With the adapter depending on how you have it set seems to me you would need a check valve or your engine would run with no pressure till the filter filled up.

Well gentlemen plant 23 is a wrap and the planter is greased and put up.
Just got home from the dentist and looks like I'll never need a tooth brush again. LOL
Bottom dentures are in and can't take them out for about 24 hours. They kinda flop around when I talk and half my lower lip is numb.
Gonna be a long night when the numb numb wares off.
I can still drink so cheers.
