Last week I was walking out to the garden, we have deer problems here so I have an electric fence around the garden. The neighbour has a young dog full of piss and vinegar always over here, chased him home many times. As I rounded the corner I saw the dog sniffing the wire then ZAP right on the snoot. It was hilarious, jumping yelping and mock chicken back home, haven’t seen him since LMAO
I want to do electric some day. What’s your recipe? I hear a little peanut butter on the wire really gets their attention.

Busted my butt yesterday and today replacing airbags and seatbelts in a Ram 3500 just to find out I have to take the truck to the dealer to ”lock” the control module. They send them “unlocked” so you don’t blow the bags while working on them.
I’ve changed probably 50 control modules that were ready to go. I’ve never heard of anyone having a problem. Seems like a way to fodder the dealer pockets.:BangHead:

What ever you’re fencing in or out is the attractant. I have really nice green grass all around the garden deer are grazing then oh those beets look good they walk over zap, gone. Doesn’t take long before they learn. The only tip I can give you is VERY VERY VERY GOOD GROUND, make sure.

How many strands does it take to keep the deer out? Fawns included.

It’s the way of the world , it’s needs to be programmed with proper vin so all the computers can work in harmony , nama stey

I’m sure it is smart enough to do that on its own. It’s a scam.

I have 3 strand polywire 4’ high. You have nice grass for them too nibble on so they will be walking not jumping which is a good thing because they can clear a 5-6’ fence with ease. One good zap is all that’s required. Will post pics. Remember ground, more than one.

Morning guys.
Had a nice slow rain overnight
Nothing too exciting here today (so far)
PIcked up a lawnmower 2 days ago. In real good shape except the cable that connects the front wheel drive is broken. I called the local shop I deal with and they tell me that cable is now discontinued. The mower is less that 10 years old so I should be able to get one.
Looking at using a throttle cable and see if that would work. 10-12 bucks and problem may be solved.
The base is excellent with a 7.25 Hp Briggs and starts first pull without any smoke. Hate to scrap it
Have a great day

Shouldn’t be hard to make or find a cable, lots of them out there, mowers, tillers, bicycles etc. an old marr connector insert works good for a cable end/stop

Morning guys looks the start of a good day and hopping it's not as hot as yesterdays 95*
I cooked up some chili yesterday to freeze up, used a few of my fresh tomatoes, oh boy did it turn out great using this fellows recipe
