We MAY get a foot of sunshine today.
Got to get outside before I go stir crazy.
Thinking of changing the snows over today. Things are looking pretty good for the weeks ahead but if we get snow we'll stay home.
Have a good one

Morning guys, didn't get much snow last night but apparently more on its way.

Not much snow here a dusting is all YET. But the wind is ESE which here means 100% snow or rain. Got my supplies so let’r rip. Still got march 66 in my head tobogganing off the roof of my dad’s house. Don’t think that will happen but got the Massey plugged in just in case. March comes in like a lion goes out like a lamb is what my grandma used to say

Snow blower and generator ready. Still trying to get me ready. :BangHead:

We have a crabapple tree red and yellow apples. Wife cans them in quart sealers w with cinnamon and syrup just finished a quart, has to be the most awesome treat ever. Slurp smack.

Haven’t decided if I’m always ready or never ready. Little chilly this morning. Been getting these little skiffs of snow so I built what I call my “ skiffer” it’s a light weight hand plow about 40 inches wide. Makes quick work of the smooth surfaces.

Makes great jelly too.

Wind died down just a light snow right now.
Looking at the oaks the tops are just swaying not doing circles like earlier. Just pick something Fred like a couple winters ago I rebuilt my old Radio Flyer wagon. Before that I refurbished an 81 Yamaha exciter, which needs to be done again because my nephew decided to use a tree as brakes, worked go stopped the sled dead. No such thing as bored that’s just laziness setting in. I suffer from it frequently till I kick myself in the ***

I built a go cart a couple years ago. Used a lawn tractor for steering and drive parts. A comet centrifugal clutch. The gear ratio was to high the thing would do about 45 mph and was really hard to get moving so I used the shaft from a 510 Massey combine straw chopper which has woodruff keys every couple inches and made a gear reduction for it, my boys had a blast on it. Made it low and wide. I had fun building it they had fun trying to destroy it.
