Time to clean, grease and put up the planter. Mother nature gave me enough slack to finally get done 2 days before the prevent plant deadline for soybeans.

Almost half the fields around me have not been touched yet. I would bet it still does not increase the price on the payments we get at harvest being the yield wont be as big.

Morning guys. Yesterday got quite hot and humid.
Last night a storm blew in and wow did it ever rain.
They were talking a possibility of a tornado north of here.
Another hot and humid day today. My dear wife said she would help me clean up the car so I can go to a car show tonight.
She'll be 75 tomorrow but she is a hard worker especially out in the garden.

Got the top of a deck to screw down, be a short day. So probably go for a stroll in the Dart and take the better half out for Dinner this evening. Make it a good one guys

Been a lovely day, not too hot and a nice breeze.
I even managed to clean the car up myself. I just detailed the front clip.
Too hard on the hands as they are still swollen.
I got Diane to remove my dad's ring off my right hand using Windex.
I saw it on the movie "My big fat Greek Wedding" and it does work.
The cars coming out of Toronto east and west bound will be nuts tonight trying to get home and out of town for the weekend.

Traffic is the same here 44 hwy to Whiteshell provincial park is bumper to bumper. Two lane hwy, a real zoo people trying to pass, it’s amazing more people aren’t killed. People fleeing the city to go to the city, less concrete but same amount of people, always made me scratch my head. Sitting on the deck with an 83 and ginger watching the world go by. Make it a good one guys
 
Well, two of the five wheels that I have been refinishing for the Ventura turned out pretty well. The other three, not so much, the masking kit peeled the paint off of the spoke areas. Disappointing for sure, but the instructions did warn of that possibility, maybe the heat of the last two days, not sure. I will try to touch them up with a brush, unless I can convince my wife to take a shot at it, she's far more skilled than I am with a paint brush.
I really do love the look, it's what I have wanted for this car since we bought it.

Now I just have to get the new rear main seal installed, (it kicked my *** good on Wednesday), service the transmission and put it all back together.
Oh, and I need some tires too.
