Been a nice day but it did get hot after a while.
Did some tinkering under the hood and took it out for a drive and working good. Went out with no shirt on around 9am and oh my it's was lovely to get some fresh air. Got the car back home and then washed and detailed it. Looks a lot better now.

Sounds like fun Mark but not having on a shirt while driving might distract on coming traffic.
Not going any farther with that comment.

Hey Biff...how's the ball joint specialist making out? Have you kicked his *** out yet? Have a great weekend.

Some one had to have put the 383 in it as the GTX only came with 440 or the Elephant.
I bought it without the engine and dumped a 383 in it that I had. Never ran the numbers to find out what it had in it. I just drove it and was a stupid 17 year old never thinking that some day it would be worth anything.

You're not alone Fred...we all did that I'm afraid. If you only knew then what you know now.

True Mark. I can say that I had a lot of nice cars as a kid and enjoyed driving them. If nothing else I have good memories and that means a lot as I get older.

My Dart when I was 18 , wrecked the poor thing , hit a big wooden hydro pole ,you can guess who won ! Motor was where the tranny should be .
