I thought that too and put a heavy ground from the chassis to the engine block. Someone will have the answer. I believe there is a voltage regulator on the back of the instrument cluster and wondering if that might be the culprit.Ya got me on that one Mark. I would check out the alternator Mark since the alternator supplies your vehicles electrical needs , when it begins to lose it's potential so does the vehicles accessories that draw on that electricity . Do your head light dim too? The regulator on the back of the dash cluster only runs the fuel and temp. gauge .Could be Gonna stick around until someone knows the problem and figure it out.
