Not just when the sun comes up but continues like that all day. pretty bright mostly with snow on the ground.

Got a question for you guys, I'm still working on getting my manual steering gear box and I can get a 16:1 or 24:1 gear ratio. Any comment on the best way to go?

Depends on your intended use. I can NOT tell you from experience but I think if you just want straight line performance and be able to park easily Id stick with the 24:1. If you are road racing 16:1 but you are going to hate driving it around town. Its gonna be really hard to turn and you arent getting any younger. :poke:

True and by the time I get the car back on the road I'll be lucky to even drive it.
Good point BP I'm not gonna race it around a track.

I would look into getting more caster than the factory equipment allows. Tire clearance will become an issue though. Best addressed before paint. some guys trim the fenders or push them out in the front with a brace.
Seems if you had offset bushings in the upper control arm and adjustable radius arms that you could gain a lot of caster and still keep the wheel centered in the hole. :)

I always push the wrong button on my key board. Sorry.
Getting better upper A arms and lowers and try not to bend the fenders.

You can reinforce your lowers. You need that adjustable radius arm and just offset bushings for the uppers. There is some bad aftermarket stuff out there so be carefull. Thats how I'm gonna roll anyway. Your Mialage may vary. (YMMV)

Your more up on that than me, was looking at QA1 adjustable uppers but not sure yet. Any info from you would be greatly appreciated.

Ya those Qa1 are nice with the built in 3 degrees of caster. Cant go wrong there but putting offset bushings in your control arms would save some money. Just stay away from the arms with heim joints. There is a lot of people that have real world experience with that stuff. I'm kind of an O.E. guy.

Never seen off set bushings. I'm learning but got a long way to go.

Moog made those bushings for cars that had been wrecked and had alignment issues. The directions say to put them in the same way front and back but some industrious Mopar folks found out if you put the rear one inboard and the front one outboard you could gain a couple degrees of caster.

Morning guys...come on...time to get up. Been up for almost 3 hrs now. Going to be a gorgeous day today. 10 and sunny. I'll probably be outside all day today. Maybe even have our first BBQ at lunch.
