Not just when the sun comes up but continues like that all day. pretty bright mostly with snow on the ground.
WOW that would be cool to see.
Not much to look at around here but sun dogs are cool to see.WOW that would be cool to see.
Depends on your intended use. I can NOT tell you from experience but I think if you just want straight line performance and be able to park easily Id stick with the 24:1. If you are road racing 16:1 but you are going to hate driving it around town. Its gonna be really hard to turn and you arent getting any younger.Got a question for you guys, I'm still working on getting my manual steering gear box and I can get a 16:1 or 24:1 gear ratio. Any comment on the best way to go?
True and by the time I get the car back on the road I'll be lucky to even drive it.Depends on your intended use. I would look into getting more caster than the factory equipment allows. Tire clearance will become an issue though. Best addressed before paint. some guys trim the fenders or push them out in the front with a brace.True and by the time I get the car back on the road I'll be lucky to even drive it.
Good point BP I'm not gonna race it around a track.

Seems if you had offset bushings in the upper control arm and adjustable radius arms that you could gain a lot of caster and still keep the wheel centered in the hole.
I always push the wrong button on my key board. Sorry.I would look into getting more caster than the factory equipment allows. Tire clearance will become an issue though. Best addressed before paint. some guys trim the fenders or push them out in the front with a brace.

You can reinforce your lowers. You need that adjustable radius arm and just offset bushings for the uppers. There is some bad aftermarket stuff out there so be carefull. Thats how I'm gonna roll anyway. Your Mialage may vary. (YMMV)I always push the wrong button on my key board. Sorry.
Getting better upper A arms and lowers and try not to bend the fenders.
Your more up on that than me, was looking at QA1 adjustable uppers but not sure yet. Any info from you would be greatly appreciated. You can reinforce your lowers. Ya those Qa1 are nice with the built in 3 degrees of caster. Cant go wrong there but putting offset bushings in your control arms would save some money. Just stay away from the arms with heim joints. There is a lot of people that have real world experience with that stuff. I'm kind of an O.E. guy.Your more up on that than me, was looking at QA1 adjustable uppers but not sure yet. Never seen off set bushings. I'm learning but got a long way to go.Ya those Qa1 are nice with the built in 3 degrees of caster. Sounds good SLO Is that what you have. I got a lot to learn and tired of never getting a good front end alignment.Check out PST Fred, they have a multitude of options on steering geometry
Ya it's tuff to find an old school alignment tech. Really frustrating not having my own equipment.Sounds good SLO Is that what you have. I got a lot to learn and tired of never getting a good front end alignment.
I have better luck doing it myself with a tape measure and level.Ya it's tuff to find an old school alignment tech. Really frustrating not having my own equipment.
Me too. Hard to measure caster though. Need a gauge for that.. Just need to by one.I have better luck doing it myself with a tape measure and level.
Yea I guess better than buying tires all the time.Me too. Hard to measure caster though. Need a gauge for that.. Just need to by one.
Moog made those bushings for cars that had been wrecked and had alignment issues. The directions say to put them in the same way front and back but some industrious Mopar folks found out if you put the rear one inboard and the front one outboard you could gain a couple degrees of caster.Never seen off set bushings. I'm learning but got a long way to go.
Is there boobs
Smoke enough weed and you'd be surprised what you see.WOW that would be cool to see.
Morning BP.... Did you go back to bed BP?Good morning Mark. I've been waiting for ya to be first.
