Sure is amazing being retired for the short time that I have, and Friday is just another day!

You are going to really like the new front end Fred, and no not that one, the other one. Be sure and check and re tighten bolts a couple of times after first few drives. Mine was notorious for loosening up the first few passes. Then it settled in real nice.

Glad your here need to ask you if I should use blue lock tight on the K member to frame bolts

Optional, I do not. But I remove mine somewhat regularly. If you don't, just check them for a bit until you have confidence in them. That is not where mine loosened up. It was some of the ancillary parts.

The directions say to use anti seize on every thing. is that a good idea.

Fred, I will take a pix of the worst offenders for loosening up this weekend and send it to you. Keep in mind I likely treat mine much harsher than you will. You may not have any issues. I think the base catalyst for mine loosening up was the hard launches whereas nose got lifted a bit then crushed on landing. I am not gentle to the Cuda!

I use anti seize based on location and potential for tearing it back apart. As a general rule I am a fan of both anti seize and lock tight. Keep in mind all I have to do is get near a anti seize jar and it jumps all over me. It is worse than pipe dope.

Yea mine won't pull the tires off the ground. I think this front end will solve all my tire ware problems and feel better hitting over 100 mph.

Found that out on the rear end assembly. lol

Back in the early 80's I was working at a dealership and they were fixing up an old stake truck. It was too big for the paint booth so the painter did it outside. He was using the old paint with the isocyanates in it and not even dust mask on. His whole face was literally orange (the colour of the truck) when he was finished. On top of that he was smoking while working. What a dumb-*** and probably been dead for many years now.
Morning , my uncle was a welder he used to smoke export A planes (no filters) under his welding helmet, while welding....yup he died of brain cancer , was my favourite uncle used to call me crash because he was always welding my bike back together .

Happy happy Friday ... Fred was there a specific part # for that front end , I want one !

Good day fellows. I'm thinking Fred and Biff's front suspension application may be different. Not sure on that but I'm sure the supplier knows. No precipitation here yet but they say it's coming. Calling for a foot in higher elevations.
Gonna have my first try at matching a tri-coat color today, Pearl white. Got me some let down cards. WISH ME LUCK. Again have a great Friday folks. I'll take some pics and show the process if any one cares. Ha!
