That was a long afternoon. We left at 12:30 and got home at 5:30. A good drive through Toronto and then up North. Sunny but a little on the cool side but traffic was good both ways. That car he bought turned out to be a real creampuff. The interior is just like brand new. The body is in excellent shape with just a few paint chips. Just needs a good clean-up but drives out very nice. Doubt it will take anything to safety. Came home to a plate of honey garlic ribs. Just finished off the day nicely. Have a great day and a great week.

Glad your friend got a nice car and the trip went well.
Num Num garlic ribs sounds good. I think I might climb in bed and sleep till winter is officially over..

Sunny here but rain coming. Looks like a wet week and just what they need up North and to the East as well. Lots of flooding and reaching 100 year records.

Poor guys up there that's gotta be hard to deal with I rather have the snow than flooding.
Not much to do today was going to go visit a friend but think I'll stay home.

Did you send your upper control arms back yet?
Doing that tonight all boxed up and ready to go only problem is I have to drive 100 miles round trip to the nearest UPS drop off and there only open for drop offs from 5:30 till 6:00 PM.
Damn sometimes being in the middle of nowhere sucks.

All well here too. Beautiful sunny day though unseasonably cold. That UPS thing does suck.

Fred if your boy wants some pre training, training on mechanics of M16 I will be happy to share and or teach him how to shoot it and take it a part and reassemble. I could likely find a suitable rifle for him to practice on.
Thanks SLO he has an AR-15 and don't know how much different an M-16 is. He kinda knows how to clean it and assemble it but I'm not the best teacher and the worse shot.
When the weather clears up we plan on going shooting just to let him get use to the gun and not shake when pulling the trigger. I think if he can get over the recoil and boom then he will need someone better than me to teach him so if you have time this summer we would come down or get your butt up here and fix you a nice steak dinner.

Only difference is rate of fire and selection. 3 round burst etc. mechanics are basically the same. We can get him sorted out in an afternoon.

That would be great. Get your hockey stick out so when he makes a mistake you can clobber him. Me and Hemi will sit and watch and eat treats.
