Still doing it. It had 4 variances and they all sucked. Got it better with some tinting and more spray out cards. I just sealed it so letting that dry good. Hope I have enough basecoat left after all of that testing. Didnt really have the colors I needed to tint it right so it got a little dark on me. Only need one coat of the mid-coat so I have plenty of it left. I might just paint it tomorrow. Kind of burned out on it but thanks for asking.

Hey guys it’s up to 60deg here sunny we did have rain and hail earlier but supposed to be 20deg cesleus tomorrow! Gonna mow the lawn and fertilize 18/18/18 makes **** grow goood .

21-0-0 is what my grass gets. My dad new a lot about grass. Nitrogen is all you need.

Your supposed to use 100 lbs an acre I use 50 lbs on 9000 square feet, mow it Thursday and Sunday you miss a day it’s 8” long , old farmer started me on it he used it on his hay fields :thumbsup:
 
And the island is where every body hides this time of year

Wow Biff you must have the nicest lawn in town.
 
My ag center has 21-0-0 with sulfur. It's actually 21-0-0-5. 5 being the sulfur. We have high phosphorous levels in our water. surely dont need to be adding any of that. The sulfur offsets the phosphate.
 
Funny story my buddy is not into mowing his lawn or keeping it green , I snuck over at night last year and fertilized his lawn , grew like mad :thumbsup:
 
We have no problem here with grass growing we don't have to water it, it just grows real good.
Sometimes I feel like using round up on it to give my lawnmower a rest.
 
I quit trying to get a nice lawn, dog pees on it and it dies !








Don't need no stinkin round up ...LOL

I use 10% vinegar a couple cups of Epson salt and a spoon full of dawn dish soap , works great in the driveway .

I'll give that a whirl. been using a weed burner. works for a while. But the dog comes back. LOL
 
Morning Guys. Keeping your grass thick will choke out the weeds plus keep your blade sharp as well.
We had a few flakes of snow, a little bit of rain, overcast sky and cold and windy then the sun came out and warmed it to 8 degrees. A real mixture of everything.
Going with a friend to pick up a car today that he bought. 98 Olds always garaged and lady driven and never seen winter.
