Has anybody installed the new LED lights in place of the stock push in bulbs? If so do you have any before/after pictures?

Why did I post a Dodge diesel truck page as a resource? Because even though the part numbers might not work, the tech ideas will. This is an excellent source of tech stuff. Hope this helps!
The first 2 links relate directly to led dash conversions, also listed are tail light/turn signals, exterior lights and replacing fusible links. That ought to help out here if the rest won't!

Nice! Are the bulbs in the Sun gauges the push-in 194/168 style? You say you found them at Advance?

The ones in the sun guages and the gear indicator
were single little LED's with 2 wires running off each (+&-)
4 to a pack, white,red,blue or green I think bout $11.00 Advance.8)

The ones in the dash instrument panels were push in style like stock but LED, see whiteguages.net

Okay, I gotcha! I`ve looked for the push-in LED`s locally and haven`t found anything.

I ordered mine from superbrightleds.com & am pretty happy so far.
I used the WLED (194) Type, which is a direct replacement for the old bulbs.
They have a good selection & their prices look pretty competitve (if not a lot better) than regular bulbs - for example, their dash bulbs range from about $0.79 per bulb up to $2.99 per bulb. I haven't put my bezel back on but these seem to have illumination at a much better level than the old style bulbs.

the next chance I get, I'll replace all the exterior bulbs as well.

WoW! That gives me hope because I just got my decals for the gauges recently from the same company. Question: Did you have any install issues? It seems pretty straightforward...kinda like the decals found in scale-model kits.

Anyway, your's look incredible.

Oh, I also just realized what you said about the Whiteface w/ the Blue LEDs. I was gonna go w/ White LEDs, but may try that Blue color because that is really striking.

Thanks for posting these. They will be a great reference for us all.

i got mine from superbrightleds.com as well. I don't have any pictures but its definitely a night and day difference. I only replaced the 3 backlight bulbs though. I went with the green ones as my car is green and it matches well

Woha!
They are charging $5.00 each & up at white face!

Check my restore thread on here titled "ABodyBetty's New Baby comes home"
in the "members restorations section".
I break everything for inst. panel teardown & rebuild on there step by step with a huge amount of self captioned photos!
Check it, Enjoy, don't be afraid to post while you're there!
Good Luck!

I just swaped the bulbs in my Barracuda with the cool white LED bulbs from superbrightleds.com and the difference is dramatic. I removed the blue green diffusers for more of a white light. I like it!

And AFTER!

I was just thinking to myself last night that my Dash is really tough to read at night. this sir is a great fix, thanks for posting the thread. I will deffinetly be going to Superbrightleds.com for my new lights.

I got some off ebay but have not put them in yet... after seeing the difference on RogerK's, I think I might have to go tear my dash out and get busy! I like them without the blue diffusers too!

The diesel site guys know how to write their stuff. Killer post, makes me realize how bad the lights are on my cars...

After seeing RogerK`s post I went to superbrightleds and bought the (6 bulb) led light bulbs in white. I installed them in a rallye dash. I left the blue lenses on. The lights are much brighter now, probably 100% or more. I would definitely recommend them. If you went with a white background the illumination would improve even more.

do you have a exact link and name of the exact light you need to buy for a duster? also how much were they. thanks. can you also put them in autometer guages too?

This is it, the bulbs are about $5.00 each.

My rallye dash took 4 bulbs to illuminate the gauges, 8 in all if you want to do signal lights, high beam indicator, and parking brake indicator.

Check some of the other posts for bulbs used with aftermarket gauges.
