Gotta love the Aussie Mopars!
@wheelsup73...... I thought you liked Phoniex tires, not Hoosiers? Nice car and camera work.
I love Sonoma, I lived in Santa Rosa 25 years, owned Vans LTD van shop on SR ave.Gave up Sears point for Spokane Co. Raceway.

I believe mine has more in it also, this was leaving at 2500rpm on the brake.Today I just got my jet extensions and modified bowl,so will see this weekend if any improvements. This was also at 68 *, not hot at all.Wow that's exactly what my car has run, except my 60 was a 1.475 that's thru muffs with on radials with just SS springs and theres more in it
So you tried 4 sets of tires before you realized it wasn't the tires? Really? Ladder bars just hit the tires too hard, that's why almost every ladder bar car is yanking the front wheels in the air 4 feet or more. 4 links are the way to go, infinate adjustability, oh I forgot, you intentially made the car do that......
In August of 2011 a friend of ours asked if he could post our 3 gear wheelstand video on Moparts and I said sure why not.I never heard of Moparts website. So he posted it and there was a big response. Lisa told me that one of the first guys to bash her wheelstand was Guitar Jones. I guess he is jealous because a girl can out drive him and has a much cooler car than his broken down bucket of bolts, that if its not the converter hub its that crappy engine he put together and blew up in the same day. I don't know what you are trying to prove but you make yourself look like an A$$. Lisa is very popular at our race track and there is not 1 person who would have anything negitive to say about her, and her car speaks for its self. Lisa is also a 4 time Sonoma Pro Et track champion and everyone who knows her knows she can drive as good as anyone at the track. So in the future keep your comments to yourself and concentrate on your own racing program as I see it needs alot of work.
@ guitar jones....Your saying your running a 4 link? With all due respect to the picture of your car, your car leaves really ugly. I admire the numbers you are putting down though with your small block.
Lots of my friends have ran 4 links, and they were lost with them for a while. Some even found the sweet spot, then lost it.
I ran a back 1/2 ladder bar in my Duster for years,It wheelied about the same as my Valiant with Cal Tracs, and it was deadly consistant, took me to many wins.
I then had a 2200 'glass Chris Alston 85 Daytona with a 4 link, and although it ran the number, the traction was sub part, at no more then 8 different tracks. That was with 15"x14"x32's on it. I also ran 2 sets of MT's and 1 set hoosiers.I admit, I was only running about 550 H.P. which was too mild for that car.
If you look at what Steve said, he has the issue worked out. I got a lot of info from his experience.
In my humble opinion, 4 links are for big horse power, big C.I. cars. And if you have lots of time to test and tune, then you may get lucky and figure them out.For me, I want to go rounds.
Chris
P.S The second photo of the Duster is the same car later, only cosmetic changes, and yes, that is all BLACK TOP drag strip including the starting line, it was a converted air field at Silverwood Park in Idaho. So to me, the ladder bar was working just fine, and yes, I won 3 races there, and was runner up once.

@ guitar jones.......I will let all my 4 link friends know how stupid they are because of how together you have it with your 4 link!
Anti roll bars (AKA sway bars) are for cars that go around cornors.....Just think how much faster your car could be, and how many more races you could win if you had a ladder bar chassis........By the way. How many races have you won?
Enjoy your car, anyway you have it set up, because in the end, it is a Mopar and that is a good thing. You should just let your car speak for itself because it's actually really cool.
Chris
P.S. I really shouldn't be posting, because I have a 'glide and a 9" Ford, so my car isn't really a Mopar anyway!
