The correct bed is 1980 back but the newer still should mount up.

Thanks for all the replies. My pick up has two gas tanks, but I will take what I can get. I don't really want an 81+, as I don't think it will look right.

there are a couple places out west that can have western boxes and southern boxes; I've been through that before and even though the newer boxes will bolt up they don't look right

the frame is identical right up to 1993 but not all mechanical parts are
