I cant wait to install these on my dart!!

Looks like my hooker headers.Either way let the power be unleashed.

Cool, what name brand?

They are summit brand. $131 shipped to my house. They are the same thing as the flowtech and hooker header brand in terms of how they look and how they are bent and the size of the pipes/collectors. It only took them a day and a half to get here in socal from Reno, NV. I was impressed by how fast they arrived.

hey I have those on my dart! good luck hahaha they are a ***** to put on they hit in all kinds of places with my 1974 swinger 360 power steering they also make a noise from hitting the body and random other places on the car we had to work them out on the steering linkage and torsion bar on passanger side HAMMER!

here is those headers on my swinger open with the old 318

I know, im thinking about 2-4 hours of work is ahead of me depending on how the installation goes. They sound great on your 318! Im just going to hate hammering these if the power steering gets in the way.. Ill be sure to post a video of mine when they are on. Thanks for the heads up!

Ya good luck it took us like 8 hours in the end spread over a couple of days just dont get discouraged they fit kinda odly we got rid of the studs and went with chrome hex head bolts the Power steering needs to come off if I remember correct so does steering linkage passanger side we got in through the bottom the driver side hahaha ya right VERY TIGHT

Oh man I hope that 2-4 hour thing holds up for you. Sometimes they go easy sometimes not.

Dang, 8 hours? were you trying to feed them through the top instead of through the bottom? haha I plan on jacking up the car 2 feet on stands and jacking up the engine 3" like it reccomends.

ya like I said the ones on the driver side has to go through the top If I remember the passanger side will go through the the bottom we had to take alot of STUFF off for room

I would loose the motor mounts so the engine can be lifted a bit. Once lifted a ways the motor can be rock side to side, just make sure the jack is on the crank pulley good....If you can get to it. Sometimes a block of wood helps

Yep as Cindy would say read the instructions well.Get started and were here to help. You know your going to drop your steering linkage right?

Yes, I was planning on taking that off, losen each motor mount one at a time for each header and see if I can do it without removing too many parts. Ill let you guys know how things are going.

I have a 72 Demon and the same headers behind a 318... if it doesn't go in easy when you jack the engine you're going to have to pull it farther... Got mine up all the way then realized I needed an engine lift to get it in. That was with going in from the bottom and being way way off the ground. Good luck, let us know how it goes and I hope your experience is better than mine was!

Side note unclip the distributor cap so you dont crack it moving the motor around and you will need plug wires with 45 deg. ends.I had to use a few plastic wire ties to move them off the right side header.Mine came with them installed but I'm going to pull them off and repaint them.

I bet it will take you close to 8 hours to put them on. I did mine in just shy of 8 hours and I had the front of the car more than 2 feet high, and the engine raised as high as I could get it.

It's the driver side that will get you. You may have to push the engine toward the left of the car to get it up in there. I think it took me close to 5 for that side, the passenger side was relatively easy in comparison. You will want to get the car as high as you can safely, especially for the driver side. You will also have to separate your steering cross link to run it through the header. You will more than likely run into a problem with your steering shaft depending on which connector is there.

Not trying to burst your bubble but that is the worst case scenario. Just take your time, work safely and try not to get frustrated. I myself would plan on a helper and a day.
