Rob we're off to DR instead of Cuba due to the hurricanes, country wide power outage and the decline of "everything" lol. When I took the kids there in 2008, the amount of old cars down there was amazing. Got a personal guided tour thru Havana, it was extremely cool. Colors, culture, cars were awesome.
I know you’re going to DR instead of Cuba. Check out this car show (Cuban Chrome) I saw a while ago that opened my eyes about the Cuban culture.
I watched that a couple times. Those are DIE HARD gear heads there!
In Cuba, I guess they keep their old cars running, or ride a burro????? or walk!! You have to give them credit.

I was in Varadero Cuba this past March, and I saw an absolutely gorgeous 55 Chevy, not hacked together like alot of their older cars are, this one easily could have been put into any car show in Canada or the USA.
