Low Dollar 318 Grand Finale Exit !!

Trying to have it ready for opening day, which is usually April. We'll be working around the weather, but we'll get it done we hope! We know how fast time goes, right?

For those that would rather read than watch, we are installing a 9.5 PTC converter and Doug Headers. Ran into a small hiccup, not having what I thought I had.
 
Brother you could have just bolted the flex plate to the crank, installed the motor and had access to install the stall bolts later by way of the inspection cover, I’ve done it that way before. Anyways awesome job look forward to final results to see what it takes off on the et.

I didn't remove the flex plate from the engine, the one in the video was just for visual/demonstration. So many that watch just haven't seen or know. And yep, I put the engine back in and ordered bolts. :)
 
I thought about what I wrote after making my coffee and realized, wait how else would he have done it. DUH! I guess I didn’t think it all way through. I was excited to see that the motor was going to be put back in and the video ended cause of missing bolts. You can’t do that to us you’re leaving us with blue balls. Haha!

My fault, I didn't explain it correctly. In the video, when I said the engine wasn't back in, it was due to me looking for bolts I didn't have. At the time (which you all couldn't see), I thought the engine would be back in around 3:30 pm but instead I was digging for bolts. I'm a bad narrator !!!! :D
 
I agree with using the Doug's. I wish I knew how good they were 30 years ago.

The LA 318 is back to Life ! Sounds a bit Angry too ..... :D
 
Weather might start to swing in our favor. Least most of the 15 inches of snow and 16 below zero/35 below windchill is gone.... Might be able to start the push to get this wrapped up before opening day!

It looks like it leaves pretty quick. Sounds good too. What Summit cam did you put in it? It has a nice little lope to it.

I don't have the specs, I bought it here on FABO :)
I had the part number or whatnots, but I'd have to look it up.
