Ma Mopar ain't interested in **** cept makin money. Sorry to bust any bubbles, but there it is. When you got CASH IN HAND and the Chrysler dealer won't BUDGE on the price, they ain't carin about a damn thing but money. It ain't like back in the day when they actually gave a damn about their drag racing program....cause they HAD one. It's no secret Ford has been doin pretty well through all this economic hooha, so no surprises that they have a better performance version of the Rustang. Had Chrysler saved at least ONE damn rear wheel drive car through the last almost THIRTY FRIKKIN YEARS, they'd be in a better position to compete. All they are tryin to do now is just survive, so performance stuff is the last thing on their mind. I got news......if they really wanted to and were interested, all these new Hemis they got would be the damned fastest things out there. All they are is basically stock big inch motors. there really ain't much performance about um.....cept maybe a good induction and exhaust systems. You can get a Rustang or Cajunko that actually has a little bit of a rumble right off the showroom floor. The Challengers are all quiet and smooth as all hell. Caint even hear one ride by. But a shelby GT500 or one of them high dollar Cajunkos will kinda shake the ground a little goin by. A little. Like I said in another thread floatin around here.....Chrysler needs to bring back the Road Runner. Now would be the perfect time. They're too damned busy tryin to make everything too damned luxo to make a real hot rod, though.
