Is there one still floating around? I could use one.

There was one or 2 made, and loaned out then went awol. Not returned or reimbursed, not accountable. So anyone that has one is understandably gunshy lol.

hey Steve, maybe you, Oldkimmer and Guido and Leroy could got to that guys house there in Canada and "pursuade" him to give it up.

In the steel mill Millwright gang we called it a blanket party. When someone acted up we got together and threw a blanket over the offenders head. Then he was issued the appropriate penalty

That's him! Now I'm not saying he stole it, BUT he apparently loaned it out to someone else and never got returned. Either way @Chris506 is responsible for it.

Shouldn't you be able to mock it up on an engine and mark where the holes should be then drill and tap them.

Part of the problem is the intake face of the Magnum head has a divot or cove where the vertical bolts enter to better facilitate machining, You're not just slightly angle drilling into a flat surface, & the fixture makes locating & controlling the cutting bit far superior.

Not only that, but the LA holes ARE NOT perpendicular to the intake face, either.

OP if you do a search and find a thread or two on here about this, there are some photos and such that might help to build one.

I have thought and thought about this, but I soon turn 76, and I'm starting to slip downhill, and this economy has not done my bank account any good, either

Yes Sir, hence "slightly angle drilling into", in My post....

He made an off color comment about selling it, remember? Why would anyone do that?

ANd of course he hasn't been on here since Nov. 24 2022. I don't have time for people like that. :mob: :mob:
