Cool, you answered a question of mine in your reply, my 471 build is going to end up around 11.3:1 I've got all the aluminum possible besides the block. And also the plum crazy on her looks amazing, my 70 dart is f4 green kind like a babies runs.

What type of cylinder heads are you running?..The one thing I'd have done different is use a low deck block..Clearance in some places are a *****..I'm having trouble getting the steering coupler to clear the header tube..If I'd have known just how tight it was going to be I'd of went with a QA1 k member with coil overs on the front along with rack and pinion steering..If I have to pull her out on down the road that's what I'll do..

Trick flow 240s on a 400 block & coated fenderwell headers, I'll most likely modify them slightly so I can fit a decent height tire up front

Mine had fenderwell headers too when it was drag raced only..Id of stayed with them but couldn't run a taller tire so I cut panels out of an old Valiant and patched up the holes cut for fenderwell headers and bought under chassis TTIs..I wanted 1 7/8 headers but TTI didn't make those only 2 inch and 1 3/4..I was afraid the 1 3/4 would have choked the engine down so I went with 2 inch..Id give a hundred bucks just to have a quarter of an inch clearance in some places..Looks like I will be dinging a header tube..

Not much rebound on that shock. Dash looks good.

Installed them with adjustable dial set a zero..After installing them set them to 6 clicks...If you'll look in the pic you'll see that snubber on the lower A arm..That'll limit how far the suspension travels down when it picks up the front tires and sets them down..We've used these on a couple of other A bodies and they work pretty good..They're the QA1 stockers..

Looks awesome! I love that! I love that your keeping the interior original even tho it appears to be a race car.

I `ve got 2'' tti`s on my 440/505 in a 68 fastback, everything clears , but is tite as h--- , no bent tubes , aftermarket k-frame w/ rack n pinion , 1/4'' IS ABOUT THE MOST i HAVE SOME PLACES 1/8'' .
You can elongate the holes in the floor plate of ur steering column to get a hair more room on the shaft -------------I`ve read a borgeson steering box is smaller than the mopar box too .

Here is a pix of my Demon badge, the bright red and yellow just didn’t look good on mine so I took the badge decal to a local graphics guy and he customized to a different color for me. I love your build it is gorgeous. I am stuffing a 6.1 in mine so I totally understand the no room thing!
