I have a 68 Dart GTS and I installed 4 wheel disc brakes but the pedal is super hard and brakes don't work like they should. Question, what size master cylinder bore do I need?

I think I have found the answer in another's question. If mine is the same I need a 15/16 bore mc.
Sorry I didn't check the forum before posting.

Just out of curiosity, I am in the process of converting my rears to disk and I want to also swap from my power master to a manual master and all my research says to go with the 15/16 bore as well. Do you mind updating when you get it all done so that I can get an additional opinion?
Thanks in advance

manual 15/16” is 100% the way to go.
So what is the benefit of getting rid of the power setup and moving to manual?

I would say weight savings and the fact that you don't have the power brake booster as a limitation on camshaft size. Power brakes require a pretty strong vacuum signal, which somewhat limits the size of the camshaft. Lastly, in a car as light as an A body, power brakes are really not a necessity.

In my case it's just personal preference. My power brakes are "squishy" (although really strong) and I am just not a fan of how they feel. I want a more positive feedback through the pedal. Nothing is "wrong" with my booster or power brakes in general.
Along the same lines, I am not a fan of how much play my power steering has so I will eventually be swapping to a borgeson unit. Again, nothing is "wrong" with the stock setup (but mine is really worn out) but I want a more precision feel from my car.
