Update. FedEx dropped off my parts this morning. Pistons are going to machine shop tomorrow. Icon forged premium pistons look very nice. I also took out my scale accurate to 0.1 gram and weighed the icon pistons, pins and scat I beam rods. All within a gram lightest to heaviest. Got the balancing paperwork for the crank also.

For the $$$$ the Icon piston is hard to beat. Plus, they offer ring pack upgrades, an option for Line2line coating and other stuff.

Very cool.

sounds good , i had 23cc dished pistons on my stroker got it to 104 compression ,but i wanted more 11.4 at least so ordered a set of 13cc dish pistons , if i ever get it together i'll let you know if the exxtra compression was worth the price paid . you should have a real screamer with that 392 . Good on you for doing a 318 , can't wait to hear the final results

I wasn’t going for all out big cubic inches or Ultimate performance. Stage one with my old cam, old restrictive intake manifold, and reused mild Ported iron heads are going to limit me for the time being. Stage 2 will be better intake, more cam and aluminum heads, but for now it will be just fine. Machine shop may get me my block back for the weekend so I can do a moch up check clearances and see how much I need to deck the block to get a zero deck. After waiting and waiting the wheels are finally in motion.
