Mini Tubs

So I fired up the heat in the garage and got busy with my new Plasma cutter today...got the rough cuts done for the inboard relocation boxes. Hopefully I will get them ground in and welded next weekend . I also decided to go with a Dana 60 rear instead of the 8 3/4...Bill over a Reilly Motorsports was kind enough to exchange my 8 3/4 weld in bar for a Dana one...Thanks Bill !!!

I did my '63 without severing the trunk spring mounts. They were angled to the outside of the car anyway. Now they're straight up and down.
Here's a pic of the halfway point, before I welded the band in.

Correction, 13 " my 295s are tight.
I did a 69 for a buddy too. I swear it was harder to do on his.
And yes, it's tough to reach some welding areas
