Also check this vid out [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TaEAip2EOfQ"]YouTube - ‪1966 ply hotrod 2 step‬‏[/ame]

Heres on for you guys im building right now should have it done by the Hot rod reunion in june of 2012 in Bowling green its a 1940 dodge business coupe they are rare ive only seen five or so but they are really cool they resemble the coveted willys but im a true blue mopar fan when i bought it the previous owner had a small block chevy and four speed of course i told him to keep it this car needs a blown hemi and nothing else so i went out and bought a 331 hemi for it here are a couple of pics. While i was searching for parts or cars like mine i came across this fine example of my car as a gasser.

Thanks i think so too its a 1954 331 hemi industriail motor it was in a portable light tower it was so cool i hated to tear it up im putting a 6-71 mooneyham blower on top it shoud be in the neighborhood of 650 hp i just installed wheelie bars and had a friend custom amke fenderwell hedders i will be driving it open hedder at the shows for a while its going to be all flat black with some old style lettering on the doors and back.its funny im more excited about this car versus all the perfect cars i have built over the years.it will also be a mopar 4 speed with a long throw pistol grip shifter knuckle buster.working on tilting the front end right now while the motor is getting slapped together.
:burnout:

one of the coolest gassers i have ever seen not mopar though

Here's The Ramchargers! Ugly, early, but effective. Some of the later models I don't like but they're Mopars just the same.

You guys need to be careful, here. While most of these old girls are "pretty cool," many are NOT "gassers." Even the "high and mighty" someone posted is running in C/A. Some of these cars posted are altereds, some are early funnies. In either case they are NOT "gas."

Car is looking good, can't wait to see it at some shows.
