More Real World VR-200 Results!

Here is another example of our VR-200 heads in a real world application, not just theoretical BS. This is a real streetcar, it is all steel except the fiberglass bumpers. It has a 422” engine that runs on 92/93 octane pump gas. It has a TH-400 trans (not an optimal NA trans) a 4.10 rear gear and a 28” tire. No hood scoop and uses a victor 340 intake with a .640”/.620” lift camshaft. It weighed 3165 lbs. on this pass. There is nothing trick about this package, just a standard type build with good parts selected. This car drove roughly 900 miles and made passes at 4 different tracks over a 5 day period. His 5 day average et was 9.954. Not too shabby for a factory replacement aluminum head.

I’m not sure how to stop the end of the video and post it on here but, if someone can let me know, I would appreciate it. I’m always willing to learn.

What on earth are you talking about. No, serious. Never heard of VR-200 heads? Who is "our?"
 
How has it been doing in competition? What classes do you race it in?
This is a customers streetcar and isn't raced in a particular class regularly. I think he got 2nd or 3rd this year in his class at Drag week (SB N/A). He wanted a drag and drive car that he could enjoy with his son. One of his goals was to have a 9 second average and we helped him accomplish that.

Your heads are without a doubt working very well.

Ever figure on making something for big blocks ?
 
Skip all that junk and buy B1's. No sense screwing with outdated heads like that.
Great idea although I'm okay saying I'll never be able to afford those and the accompanied block to support a cylinder head like that.
Unless I win mega millions and I just don't have any sort of luck, since I'm Scottish not Irish lol
