here's one side of the engine mount. As I stated I bought a bag of nut inserts off of Ebay, drilled holes in the frame, and set them in place. Always put the bracket behind the plate.... makes for easy engine removal.

Ok.... so I cheated years ago and had a tube K and steering rack installed, but you still get the picture of how the limiter is in place. I also had one on my old race car (Mirada) and it had the stock K. Heim ends or even a cheaper turn buckle will work to take out the slack.

Hey Cope,werent you gonna run a th 400? If so,does it use an adapter plate? Cause you can use the adapter as the mid plate also. Some adapters come oversized for that reason. And if I missed something just disregard this post.lol.
 
Shoot, your right about that. guess i dont need the mid plate...
