I have a 73 Dart with a 318 I will be putting on Hooker headers and I am looking at the Jegs 2.5 in. exhaust system with Dynamax Super Turbo mufflers. What I don't know is which muffler to get there are so many different sizes and inlet and outlet locations. I know I want 2.5 in and out. If anyone knows which one I need, I would greatly appreciate that info.

Offset inlet, center outlet.

I second that! Just curious, but why are you going 2.5" on a 318? Is it heavily modified? You might be happier with 2.25" for a bit more torque.
I was not aware that there was big difference in performance between the 2.25 and 2.5 pipes. My local muffler shop wants about $650 for the exhaust from the header back. I was hoping to use the Jegs exhaust & Dynamax mufflers for less than $400. Is there a certain length muffler that I will need to use?

Stick with the 2.5" kit. The 2.25" exhaust won't make any more torque. Not that you'll likely need the extra flow up top either, but the pre bent 2.5" kit will be the easier route to take.

My teener ran Dynomite with dual 3inchers,Dynomaxers, and TTIs.
It was a stock LC 73 with a smallport iron intake and TQ,904/3.55s. It was my winter motor for 4 years.
I also ran it with an O/D box and a GV,for double O/D.With 3.55s the rpm was 1588@65. With 2.76s;85 was 1614
Please don't argue that 3 inchers suck torque. That old teener cruised for hours at 1588, and pulled double-O/D to over 100 mph, and beyond. You just have to tune it.With a semi-auto VB, I loved to put it in too-high a gear, and let the TQ moan.
I will say that dual 3s are a tad noisy at full-song. Noisy but not aggravatingly so, and those muffs are quiet enough when not at Wot, and have no drone. With my 367 cuber they are a little louder at WOT.People say the sound is unique, and my car is the only one around with this particular sound, ( dual 3s will do that), and they can always tell it's me from a long distance away.So about 95% of the time, I behave myself. And when I get on it, it's gonna be for 3 to 5 seconds, or less;cuz you know, speed limits and stuff.

Someone on this site is using the Dynomax Super Turbo muffler 17748. This muffler is 20"length 9.75" wide and 4.25" high. Oval. Is this the size I need for this car?

The 2.5 inch will definitely help you breathe more but I didn't know what kind of mods you've done to your 318 if any.

72bluNblu is right, the 2.5 inch would be much easier because there's "off the shelf" kits that you can order and install if you wanted to go that route. Jegs has a kit and so does Summit.

I actually have the Jeg's 2.5 inch kit that came with the chambered mufflers and it's a bit too obnoxious (loud) for my taste. At and idle it's OK but when on the freeway doing 70 it gets tiring. I can hear it from inside the house when my son fires up the Duster. Granted, my 360 is cammed, big heads, Doug's headers, etc so it helps add to the loudness.

The Super Turbo mufflers that you're looking at, are going to be quieter. Previously, I had Dynomax Turbo Mufflers, but they were 2.25 inches which would be too small for a hopped up 360 like mine. So, I sold the whole exhaust. Actually, I traded it for sail panels.

Keep in mind that the Jeg's and Summit kit do not come with either H pipe or X pipe in case that's any value to you, but they do sell an X pipe kit. If you're not familiar with what that is, just Google it. That's a whole other discussion. lol

At this point, I feel like redoing my exhaust or at least I want to add an H pipe to it. Those kits are kind of one size fit all and requires plenty of test fitting, cutting, cursing, etc but it's the cheapest way to get something working. Get the kit without mufflers and just pick your own muffler and go for it.

Thanks for the advice, it is greatly appreciated. I am left with one remaining question, that is what length muffler should I be looking at?

What most people don't realize when choosing exhaust is, exhaust tubing is measured from the outside diameter. So, a 2.5" pipe is actually around a 2.25" ID. That's why you always err on the larger side.
