My 1967 Cuda Restoration

Holy crap! What a beast. Tony, you've outdone yourself -- be proud.

Thanks Leanna!

I am very proud...never thought it would turn out like this.

I remember it looking like this:

The wife installed the Hush Mat today. She is a good mommy:-D

Also finished up the console

Wow looks great Tony! And way to go Thelma -- I love seeing FABO ladies getting involved too. :-D

Did you put the bottom carpet strip on your console yet? That's the last step I still need to take on my own interior, and the lack of directions in the box with the carpet was acceptable until then LOL. The only piece left from the complete kit -- a 2' x 2' section -- is going to need to be cut into strips from a template it looks like.

Keep up the awesome work!

She's a good mommy.. She sure is :cheers:and she did a VERY neat and meticulous job.
One day I will be going carpet and Hush mat.8)

Thanks Leanna! Yep, Thelma does a lot of the work for me.

What instructions? Mine didn't come with any.

The carpet strip for the bottom of the console came pre-cut.
It's all one piece.

My carpet came from ACC

I won't put it on till last.

Thanks Brother Mike...she takes care of me...that stuff would
be hard for me to install.

Brad wants the car on Monday to get the front suspension finished.
Needs to set the ride height and get it aligned. I had given up on
making the cruise in on the 18th but he told me he wants my 'Cuda
at his booth. I am going to try and have the carpet and interior trim
finished by then.

Tony, stop playing with us and get the car together already...

I'm running out of adjectives! :-D

I'm running out of adjectives! :-D

I'm trying Robert, I'm trying

This is my last project...I wanna drive um...not work on them

It would be nice to close out this thread:-D

I'll need one more adjective for when I'm done, so save
me one.

Later,
Tony

Had a very productive day today. Many thanks to the wife for all
of her help.

Installed the fenderwell panels, rear fold down door, metal trim and
rear "door" panels.

Please overlook the fingerprints and smudges on the panels

Got the console mounted. Many thanks to RedFish for the
brackets to mount it. Still need to install the carpet that goes
around the bottom of the console.

I see you installed the console carpet too. Looks absolutely spectacular Tony =P~.

Seems you will make your deadline for the show .

Sure would!

I'll supply the place to meet and do a photo shoot:-D

When you comin' over swede....sounds like fun times

That would be some adventure, I wonder how much the shipping would be, the opposite direction is somewhere between $1800-2000.

The fish looks awesome, have you been able to take it for a spinn yet?

I can see the finish line!!!!!

Quite the accomplishment, Tony.

As a former pro in this hobby I can tell you there was never more of a feeling of satisfaction than when I was able to make the phone call to a customer and tell them the car was ready. Weeks, sometimes months, after having started a project. That feeling was always a rush. I hope you're having that experience yourself right now, bud.

Many thanks for all the great comments

It's comments from all of you in the FABO family that
keep a project like this going. It really does make a
difference knowing that there are friends out there
that take an interest in your project.

Thanks again

Tony
