So that's what it looks like in a great car  Congratulations on a great job Tony :happy10::happy10:.
I see a corn field on the left that need to be cut for feed , but what is that to the right?
Or is that beans on the left that is ready to harvest ? I just had to ask :-D

You're way too funny Mike.:-D Don't ever change brother.

Hi Tony!

Just wanted to congrat you on your awesome work.
I´ve just read your thread for the "1000" time and must say, LOVE your Barracuda!

When I started to restore my Dart, my idea was doing exactly the same combination as you did, black with red interior.
Decided to keep it simple, going black on black now.

Congratulations!

Thanks Alex!

I really appreciate the comments.

I think your car will be killer when it's done :thumbup:

I have followed this thread, and I wanted to ask if you kept any records or a summary of the parts, and where you got them, and any thing specific to the 67 Barracuda that you discovered along the way.
I have a 67 as well, and they are very different from the 68/69s, and sometimes hard to locate the correct pieces.
For example, my speedo cable went, and the best, and only, replacement that worked and fit correctly was from a 67 B body.

Sweet ride!

Thanks buddy!

The vendors I used were:

The Paddock (out of business now) leaf springs, gas tank, brake and
.....gas lines, emerg. brake cable, etc.
Year One (stuff that The Paddock didn't have)
R/T Specialities (clips, screws, etc.)
Tri-City Plating (bumpers)
CV Platers (dash bezel)
Legendary Interiors
TTI (exhaust pipes)
AAR (hood and scoop)
Metro (trunk and wheel lip trim)
E-bay (dash pad not a '67), console and shifter
Barracudakid (lots of misc. used parts) here on FABO
Summit (Pypes exhaust tips)
Master Power Brakes ( disc brake conversion)
Cooker Tires (redlines)

The '67 dash pad has a "step" or ledge running from left to right.

My car is far from stock so re-pop parts were ok
with me. Wheels are 15" x 7" from a 1984 New Yorker I believe.

Hope this helps.....

Wow Tony - quite a build, just went through all 26 pages. One question - I too have the infamous Layson 2 piece glue together housings from his first run. Mine popped when I went to install them also. I see where you sent them back, then a few pages later the replacements were on the car. Are the replacements two piece also - did he do them differently somehow.

Hit it pretty hard the last couple of days. I decided to replace the Auto-Meter
chrome cups with a standard 3 gauge panel. The chrome cups were not
period correct in my opinion.

I also took off the re-pop fan shroud and replaced it with an orig. a-body unit.
Ryanupdike70's father Tom gave it to me. Ryan is a member here.

The "new" shroud is a 19" unit but I have figured out how to use it. This
thing is really sturdy. My radiator is 22" wide.

The part number of the 19" shroud is 3691916

You can see in the pics the distortion of the re-pop shroud. I got
it from The Paddock before they closed....no warranty now.

I've got to clean up the under dash after re-running the wires and such.

Trying to get it ready for the Carl Casper Show in Louisville in late Feb.
in case I decide to go.

What the hell, did they use some sort of thermoplastic? Looks that way - and when it got hot it softened and chose a new shape.

I can't believe the shroud carnage....I have also read the repops aren't worth a sh*t. Sorry to see this, but looks like you have an original Mopar one figured out

I hear great things about this place.

Unfortunately, I think these guys are out of business too. Just wanted to mention it.

Working on the gas tank leak now.

We shall see in a couple of days.

Got mine here Michael...it's the 3/8" unit S-CR11238
Mine had 2 lines..I plugged the vent.

http://www.classiccarautoparts.com/gastank_sending_units.html

No problems other than me not getting it sealed properly.

They show a NOS 5/16" unit N-CR11 only one line
