Tail lights got to go sorry man there ugly looks like dude went crazy with the body mods got done then said o crap i forgot the lights and just stuck some on and the wheels arent really doing it for me they just don't seem to go with the style of the car other than that i love everything and id love to know where the side mirrors came from id like to get a set for my dart

The taillights are LED, bright and look very good in person. You just have to let go of the stock ideas and let your imagination go. This is a very nice car, very cool, and all the options make it what it is. Can't start taking stuff off, it detracts from the package as a whole.

And not one mention of the trunk insulation? Holy crap, those flames are cool. He cut and sanded them into the foam, then covered it. Pretty freakin' awesome!

The car was built with a street rod/show flair. I understand it's not everyones cup of tea. Not what most of us would do, but it's a great build.

Awesome work on that car. At $9K , he stole it. The tail panel and lack of rear bumper is not my cup of tea, but I am sure your brother will have a blast with it. Great score!

That dash is amazing..until I saw that, I actually liked my faux wood grain :p

Too bad Rocky Mountain Dash is out of business, though my brother says they are still around with a new name I keep forgetting. That's the dash I wanted but could it find, so I ended up with fastlanewest instead. I'm happy with mine, but the whole RMD treatment is freakin' beautiful.

I'm not fond of the tail lights, but they did good work. Much respect to the fabricator

For 9k, there definitly more then double in that car. Very nice, great score. Congrats

Very Nice Indeed! As stated above....Probably cost around $18,000 to build. It's a buyers market out there.
Most important question. HOW Does She RUN?? I bet you smile for hours after driving it.

Congratulations  I see 9 grand under the hood and suspension..
I am a 383 fan :) and think they are the way to go for steet and some strip use
over the 440, but hay, I drive a 170/6 66. :happy1:
We have a man and lady that shows up at car shows with a big screen and there is always a crowed playing with it Drag racing out of the back of a 52 cchevy panel truck.
Allot of talent and time went in to that Dart, and I bet it is a great driver.
That is my first dash to see like that :tongue9: outstanding

It's now Peaks Dashes. They're still on here somewhere. I can't remember exactly.

Not a powerhouse by any means. Stock bottom end as far as I know with the .474 purple shaft cam, Torker intake, Holley 600 dp, and headers.

Working out some issues right now. PO needed to swap water pump outlet to match the radiator he put in, but didnt change timing cover. Explains why he was telling me he wasnt able to get the motor timed right- he buried the timing tab under the outlet. (He had timing at 45* total) Cant swap covers because the ps pump and March brackets totally block any view of the balancer on that side. I had to find TDC, mark the balancer under the car, and then mark the water pump outlet so I could time it right. Vacuum advance can was pointing in a really weird direction so I pulled the distributor and the intermediate shaft wasn't lined up right. Got that all set, timed at 32* total. It doesn't seem to like the correct timing as it now has a hard time warming up and occasionally spits off idle.

While doing that I noticed that the balancer is scalloped which leads me to believe that either the '70 motor has been swapped to cast internals, or he has put the wrong balancer on. I tend to think he has done the latter as the car feels like it has an odd vibration- very mild. Have not checked out the convertor for weights yet.

The plan now is to rebuild a spare 383 or 440 to swap in the spring.
