took the carb apart,it had powervalve plugs front and rear.says they are suposed to be 6.5s front and rear.the front jets were what thebook says 74s fromt and rear.the rear jets that are in it are 77s i will have tochange back.no wonder they didnt want to use it.it would have run like crap.i never take out the power valves if it's gonna be driven on thestreet.View attachment Img_00393.jpg

Yea they look mean as hell. Had a 1050 on my drag boat and it was wicked.
used an 1150 on ls6 454 worked real good.ok today i put the carb back to stock 74s squared 6.5 pv's.took intake off the engine.cam looks great .guess i will keep useing that comp breakin additive.View attachment Img_00403.jpg

Oh yes,fabrication time. In my prior post,the 10 jet jump up,is recommended when replacing P/V' s,with those damn plugs. Sorry,for lack of clarity.

hey i always have lack of somthing! lol remember the enginemasters mag with the 620 horse sbm with the smooth crank indy heads etc?anyway thats how i'm doing the adaptor.screwed to the intake ,carb bolted to adaptor.

You know what it took Bryce over 2 weeks to call me back on them air wolfs. I'm all over the NOS now. Screw that guy... LOL

I will be eyeballing the NEW Edelbrock Victor SB Heads when they hit the streets in May 2013. They should put all the other heads to shame in the hands of a good porter who knows what he is doing. At least that is the Rumor's on the street...... we shall soon see if they are FOS or not.

Stick with the W2 's ,Mike. Especially,with N20.....
oh i'm not gonna change them out.i just think it will run better if the valves sat up higher in the chamber.they arent sunk but they are lower than i would like.so 2.08 and 1.65 s will put them back where they should be.....:book:
 
Nice work,you were right. I know you are gonna like that Dominator. People hear "360 ,small solid,dominator",shake their heads.My 396,similar airflow,cam specs.The 1050 ,2 circuit carb,was so much more drivable the the 850,sorted out.
