My sack of lemons....

Holy cannoli I never come in the hemi forum but I'm glad I did today! Love your engine bay work, exactly the kind of mods I have in mind. Keep up the great work.

Uhcoog1,

What are talking about? That pickup has all kinds of bends in it. ;)

Joe Dokes

Outstanding, you should have it together in no time.

Found this thread for the first time just now. You've thought this out really well. No doubt you won't regret the switch to a Gen III after all this. Congrats brother.

I notice that you welded boss's on the down tubes in the engine compartment, what are your plans for those.

Oh, and the paint in the engine compartment looks really nice.

Joe Dokes

Chromoly X-brace if I ever get a Tig welder. Thanks for the comps guys, this is what the zillion ideas spinning in my head looks like lol! I borrowed a lot of them from Kevin Bride (Hotchkis East) and Wade Uchoog on here. The front tubs were Wades idea, and the cage has a lot of Brides brain to thank.

Found an oil galley hole today I didn't even know it had. After I found an 1/8" pipe plug for it, I had 60psi oil pressure while cranking. I was very happy to find this un-plugged when I had 0psi and a puddle under the engine.....

[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GMMF7gS7DQE&feature=youtu.be"]420" Gen III Dart start and idle MS3 EFI - YouTube[/ame]

Not a huge fan of the Flowmasters , its an exhaust I had from about 6 yrs ago and I spliced it onto these TTI's since they have 3" collectors and my old exhaust after this one was 3.5". Plan on a different exhaust when funds allow. Whats crazy to me is this thing sounds almost identical to how it did when it was on the BB. Thanks Ralph.

Wow, nice progress! So your car was already looking pretty good; mainly an engine / trans change and cage work; put 'er back together and enjoy? You're almost there. These first engine starts you guys are doing gives us other guys who still have a long way to go something to look forward to. Thanks for posting that...

Good stuff . Did it start up and run with EFI sources stock 6.1 tune .

Was not first engine start, more like 4th, and since I changed to 80lb injectors the tune was off a mile. Had to reset the injectors values and now working on VE table to getting mixture right. SO far idle needed about a 20 point reduction in its cells to get the idle where it is. Whatever the hell that means.

Nice! You are nearing the end for sure. What the heck are you going to do with yourself when it is done?? Rehab?? Lol
