Need a profile pic of your car

No problem. No interference at all. The cragars are all 6'' wide and my black steel wheels are 6" wide in front and 8" wide in the back. Sorry I don't know the back space on them.

Thanks. The cragars are 14'' with the size tire that you mentioned. My black steel wheels have 215/65-15 in front and 245/60-15 in the back. Bobby
Id like to see a pic with the 215/65-15s. I just picked up 5 @ 15x6.5 steel rims . $10 each !

OK I can get you pics of the 215/65-15 on the car but it won't be until later this afternoon or early
evening. Bobby

Thanks. Hope it's no trouble. Am thinking of buying 15 inch wheels. Am finding more tire options. 215/65-15 puts you at the max recommended height of 26 inches.

The 215/60-15 is advertised at 25.2 diameter. Is this a better option over the 215/65-15 at 26.0 diameter?

This is as close as I have to a profile picture of my 69 Barracuda on my cell phone. It has 14 inch wheels with 205 –70–14 tires.

Mathematically, a 205–70–14 tire will be 25.30” tall and 8.07” wide and a 215–6 5–15 tire will be 26.00” tall and 8.46” wide.

Man that is a great looking car !
My 68 was an original Black/Black car but I don’t have the patience for perfect body work and it’s too damn hot out here for black . White is forgiving and cool !

Here are close up pics of the clearance of the front tire to the lip of the fender. With the wheel straight there is almost 1-1/8 inch and with the wheel turned where it is closest to the fender there is between 3/4 and 7/8 of an inch.

Thanks. I probably have close to 100 hours block sanding on it. I did the paint myself.

Oh.. your car is green not black . F8 Green may be my favorite .
This was my Triple Pickle Imperial .

I like the numbers. Just so I understand. The front wheels are 215/65-15? If I am incorrect it's because I'm getting lost in the responses. Thanks for the pics. Hope I did not cause trouble for you. What size are the rears? Yea, I went back and read the posts. Sorry but totally lost on what size tires I'm looking at. Please enlighten me.

No trouble at all.
The cragars have 205/70-14 on the front and 225/70-14 on the rear.
The black wheels have 215/65-15 on the front and 245/60-15 on the rear.

my duster with 195/70R14 front and 225/70R14 rear. front height was set with about 5/8" gap between the top of the stock LCA bumpstop and the K frame (cut down the bumpstop to get a touch over an inch of clearance), rear are used 6 leaf HD springs that sat a bit low, so I'm using some YJ lift shackles to get the rear ride height where I want it until I can get new springs or find a place to re-arch these.

I want to say ground to top of wheel arch in front is like 24.5-25", rear is 26-26.5".

Great looking car Bobby. Silver (one of my faves) notchback, another fave, and a great choice of wheels/tires!
What tires are those? Sorry to hijack, but I'm looking to give an attitude change on our 67.
Thanks.

First off want to say looks like nice clean ride. My car is a converted /6 to 340 so front end is sitting low due to 340 I have in place and torsion bars are old. On the to do list as soon as I rectify what tires to put on her. Now that I think of it, front end is on the bump stops. Have replaced rear springs and rear end. Cannot move car until I decide on wheels and tires due to change over to BBP. Denny's driveshaft on the way. Thanks for your tire and height information.
