Howdy!

A couple years back I finally picked up my dream Mopar & snagged a decent little ‘68 Barracuda notch, one of my favorite body styles of any car ever. Nothing rare or fast. Just a small block 318 Commando, but that’s plenty for me….for now. Might throw a performance cam & some headers on her, but probably not much more than that. Already swapped the 2 barrel carb for a 4.

I just recently became aware of this site when someone in a Barracuda group I’m in on Facebook posted a link from here to some parts I was interested in so I had to get signed up.

Anyhow, just wanted to introduce myself, say hi, & I look forward to clicking around and getting to know y’all!

Attaching some photos of her recent paint work.

Thanks,
Travis Haight

Welcome to the site from Southern Alberta, Canada.
Nice looking car, I love the color as well!

Nice fish!!

Is that turbine bronze (MM1)? Regardless, awesome colour!

Welcome, welcome, welcome. I have a 69 Fastback Barracuda. I love the 67-69s. My FAVORITE colors for the notch are F8 green and the T5 bronze. Your car is stunning in the bronze. It's strange, but I think some colors look better on the notches, and that bronze is perfect on yours. The 318 is a GREAT motor. Just ask @318willrun. You can really wake up a 318 with just a few parts and have a great, peppy driver. BTW, I know just where Lakewood is. For three of my 20 years in the USAF, I was in a special Ops unit. We used to take our C-130s to the Lockheed Skunk Works in LA for "Special" modifications or work on the existing "Special" modifications. Rather than just leave the Airplane, the crew would hang around for a week or two and wait for the work to be done. I got pretty familiar with the LA area. Unless you are going for 100% stock looking, you should consider a 69 Callout stripe down the sides in white. It would look amazing on your car. Picture a white stripe like this on your car.

All wives should be so lucky!
Or, perhaps, all of the guys on this forum should be lucky enough to have a wife who wants to be in the car and have her picture taken!
