I went from a 4.56 to a 4.30 gear and installed my Daytona Sensors ignition. I really like how it picked up in the 60 foot

Crane ignition that was about 20 years old, still worked but not like the Daytona Sensors. I do not run the red box on any of my cars
I hear ya. People will never understand how much a good ignition can make over what they're currently using.

Just curious what you consider a good ignition and what's a bad ignition setup?
The Crane and Daytona I consider good. Most of the MSD not so much.

It comes down to how well the ignition can get the burn started. The development of the flame kernel is critical to how the burn proceeds.

All I know is I have had multiple boxes fail, and every car I have installed the Daytona Sensor box and coil in, just runs so much better and ETs are better.
