I went from a 4.56 to a 4.30 gear and installed my Daytona Sensors ignition. I really like how it picked up in the 60 foot

Super stock leaf springs and a pinon snubberWhat is your rear suspension set up?
What ignition system did you have on it earlier?I went from a 4.56 to a 4.30 gear and installed my Daytona Sensors ignition. I really like how it picked up in the 60 foot

Crane ignition that was about 20 years old, still worked but not like the Daytona Sensors. I do not run the red box on any of my carsWhat ignition system did you have on it earlier?
I hear ya. People will never understand how much a good ignition can make over what they're currently using.Crane ignition that was about 20 years old, still worked but not like the Daytona Sensors. I do not run the red box on any of my cars
Just curious what you consider a good ignition and what's a bad ignition setup?I hear ya. People will never understand how much a good ignition can make over what they're currently using.
The Crane and Daytona I consider good. Most of the MSD not so much.Just curious what you consider a good ignition and what's a bad ignition setup?
All I know is I have had multiple boxes fail, and every car I have installed the Daytona Sensor box and coil in, just runs so much better and ETs are better. The Crane and Daytona I consider good. Most of the MSD not so much.
It comes down to how well the ignition can get the burn started. The development of the flame kernel is critical to how the burn proceeds.
The stroke is a 3.58, flat top pistons, flat tappet cam, Speedmaster heads, Victor 340 intake. and NA is the only way for me.Let’s hear more about your combo is that stock stroke NA
What's the duration on the cam?The stroke is a 3.58, flat top pistons, flat tappet cam, Speedmaster heads, Victor 340 intake. and NA is the only way for me.
