New Dart Owner in TN

Just about to pick up a 1965 Dart 2 Door Post with a slant 6 335 and an auto on the column. Any things I should look for??

Welcome aboard from Greenfield (yeahhhhh, way out in the sticks :-D)! It's good to have you here. Your 335 is most likely a 225 cubic inch motor instead. Post up some pics when you get the car home and don't be shy with the questions! You'll have fun and learn a lot around here.
 
welcome from lafayette Tn about as close to you as anyone.My father just got a 66 2 door post.Lots of info here from full frame off restore to getting a DD back on the road.

Rust is what you should look for. That and if you can look to see if the frame is actually all metal and no bondo on it. Welcome to FABO
 
Nice! Tune-up parts and technique suggestions in this thread. Carburetor operation and repair manuals and links to training movies and carb repair/modification threads are posted here for free download. The slant-6 engine requires periodic valve adjustment. You'll want to do the Fuel line mod, and perhaps eventually the HEI upgrade . There are also various safety upgrades to make the car more adequate for use in today's traffic. You'll want to pick up the factory service manual and (depending on your overall level of old-car knowledge and experience) maybe also the other two books described in this thread. And here are some pointers for parts sources, good and bad.
