While I like the strength of the H-beams, which have served me well for years, I'll be using 273 I-beam rods in a planned NHRA combo. It's easier to get to the NHRA minimum piston/rod assembled weight spec. I just have to figure out how long they will last, hopefully without breaking one.
 
Yes, they are replacements for LA small block OEM rods. You would just need to rebalance the rotating assembly because of the weight differences.
 
Prices lowered a bit - $435.00 shipped for the new ones and $213.00 shipped for the used ones.
