After letting my 64 dart convertible sit for 10 years(I bought it when I was 15 as my first car), I finally have the means to get it on the road. Just need a bit of help determining what to get.

I started with front discs(Thank you to superdart340 - http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=125799)

Questions on that, other than a new master cylinder, is there anything else I'll need to get these on my ride?

My goal, as referenced in my previous post, is to have this reliable and safe. So, I decided while I'm doing the brakes and it's having body work done, I'll redo some of the suspension as it's the stock rubber. I've seen multiple kits for rebuilding, rubber and poly. I'm not so much concerned with the material as there are many opinions going both ways, more so with the relation to my new brakes. Will I have any special concerns getting a complete kit for a 64 that now has disc brakes up front? Any particular kit(2 I've been looking at -

I'm also converting the ignition with the Pertronix Ignitor. Is there anything else I should look at upgrading under the hood to make it more reliable(and if so, any recommendations?).

Lastly, to make it street legal, I'll need a new wiper motor and muffler. Any suppliers or part recommendations you could point me to?

I know it's alot of questions, but this thing is on my bucket list to get finished and drive atleast once, so it has to happen now, and I can't do it without a bit of knowledgeable help. Thank you.

You will need a proportioning valve for you brakes Either the factory one to match the new master cylinder or a adjustable one Suspension pieces should be bought for the year of the parts Do you know what year car the disk brakes came off of? What style?

One thing I see missing in the pics is the bracket to mount the brake hose to and then screw the line into the hose.

The brake set up(k-h sbp) comes with everything(including brackets and proportioning valve) except the mc which ill get from rockauto. It's from a 70 dart.

I think you need the pushrod from the pedals to the master cylinder too.

x2 for rubber on the street. I installed poly in the rear only of my 63 Valiant(free left over parts) and now regret it. ONLY because the noise transfer throught the car on bumpy roads. Drives me nuts.

Can anyone back this up? I did some searching on the forums and it looks like as long as I'm going manual to manual I won't need a new push rod. Just want to make sure.

So, rubber for the streets. Noise won't bother me from the poly, 64 convertible won't exactly be a quiet ride(just means I won't have to listen to my girlfriend while I'm driving haha), but I've heard of the squeaking issues, I don't think I'd like that . Any other recommendations on where to pick a full rubber kit up?

UPDATE:

Got the brakes, a new master cylinder, and the pertronix ordered.

I've decided on the Edelbrock IAS shocks. Still debating on a rebuild kit for the front end. And talking to Daniel Stern to upgrade my lighting.

Any other recommendations of parts I should update/replace?
