Well, the other thread was derailed majorly.
So.. Since there isn't a lot of nitrous setups shown on here. I figured we can start a new thread so people can show their setups and how they work.
Here is my setup. I haven't ran it yet. I have dry tested everything and tested all the outputs and timing control from the MSD and NOS Mini 2stage controller. Basically I need a full bottle of nitrous and I can test on the Giggle Gas.
I used a Nitrous Express Gemini stage 6 twin system. 300hp max is what the plate is rated for.
NOS Mini 2stage progressive controller(in case I get froggy one day and add another kit)
Quickfuel Brawler 950 carb
Magnafuel quickstar 300 pump/filter, -8 from fuel cell to regulator block, -8 return.
With 2 Magnafuel regulators with -6 lines feeding carb and -6 feeding fuel solenoid.
Nitrous Bottle is a 10lb NX bottle with Lightning valve, -4 line with a filter near the bottle.
The NOS mini controller is setup to use the microswitch as a ground switch function, which is programmable in the controller settings. Progressive controller also sends a 12v signal to my MSD digital 6 box which is tied into it's step retard function. So as soon as the microswitch is engaged and the progressive reads active the msd will pull my selected timing above 2000rpm. The controller also has a delay setup, so I can control what percentage the solenoid opens and when during the nitrous cycle as well as what rpm sweep it can be activated. Pretty freakin cool.
