Okay, us NW'ers know how crappy the weather has been. I was stuck at home for a good portion of it and did a lot of eating and drinking, thus creating more and more garbage to dispose of than usual. Well, Friday the 26th was the second friday in a row that the garbage truck didn't come by. I understand the first friday, as it was horrid out, but is it because its the day after x-mas that they didn't show? The roads look fine. Am I the only one experiencing this because I live in the boonies? On a side note, a branch broke at my parents and blew a power line and their house caught on fire. They put the fire out and called the Fire Department and power company. The fire department never showed (not that they needed to necessarily, but they said they would come take a look) and it took three days for the power people to come out. I am really glad this shitty weather is finally coming to an end.
