Oh no! Brought home another one!

Here's some progress for those following my build!

A few weeks ago my boss was kind enough to give me a carb rebuild kit (somebody ordered it and then ended up getting rid of the vehicle) which got me motivated enough to pick up a reman master cylinder to get my brakes working again! So after replacing the master, my dad ran the pedal while I bled the brakes and the car finally had good working brakes! That inspired a few burnouts lol... Then late this week I was sent to the junkyard again to hunt parts for a broken Ferd (go figure) and ran across a 2bbl aluminum intake on a 1983 Dodge truck, needless to say it left with me

Painting the intake hardware for the 2bbl intake:

New intake, covered in three coats of engine paint and if i remember right, three coats of engine clear to make sure it doesn't leak around the goofy factory welds, not sure what caused the yellow discoloration...

The new carb, still trying to make it as pretty as the rest of the parts lol

ATF+4 is for electronic transmissions, the older ones used type F or dextron and is about 1/2 the price. I have a complete BBP 8 1/4 set up including driveshaft if your looking.
