Does anyone know how to get a 90 degree oil filter adapter to seal ?

I hate those things. I tossed mine and am running the shorter filter. It leaked in the first few minutes of the initial test run.

@ OldKimmer - I went with the RTV in combination with the correct larger gasket that I found at Advance Auto Parts in Brooklyn MD. I torqued her down at 50 ft. lbs. Fired her up and no leaks at all.

I used a sheet of paper gasket material , cut my own and put a thin layer of silicone on it , let it cure and never had a leak.
Coating the gasket and letting what ever you use ( RTV or ultra copper would be my choice here ) set up should solve any leaks there.
