Old leather seat care, and rejuvenating????

Hello guys, anybody have any tricks to preserve and soften old leather bucket seats? They have gotten hard and developing hard lines I fear may become cracks and tears. Can they be softened up some and with some good products become a little more forgiving. I will recover them in a couple of years, but that is winter work, right now I just want to finish the car.
 
Furniture stores sell a 3 stage cleaner. I think its moisturizer, cleaner, and conditioner. I know one is a moisturizer, I can't remember the other two. But I did it to an old leather seat I had and it worked pretty good at softening it up
