Hi guys and gals,
I'm trying to replace some bad power steering hoses on my wife's "new" 1975 Dart Sport. It was originally a slant 6 but was swapped to a 340 with a Saginaw pump. No matter which site I look at, I'm seeing hoses with a fairly straight section on the pump end, and hers is more serpentine. Pictures attached.
Can anyone show pics of their setup with a Saginaw pump? Maybe these newer hoses will work, but I can't visualize how that straight section would fit.
I've tried looking up earlier 340 hoses, slant 6 hoses, and nothing matches visually. There are places that sell Federal pump hoses that look similar, but the federal has an o-ring connection whereas the Saginaw has an inverted flare.
Editing to attach photos of the pump, which I was told is an early Saginaw.
