Can l use my 1974 Duster power steering pitman arm on my swapped-in 1970 manual steering box?

The sector shaft sizes are different, and if you look, they are probably different in the way the attach to the center link. '70 from the bottom up, and '74 from the top down. Pittman, idler, and center link changed to the later style in 1973. Moog K7075 should be the one you need.

From your comment I gather that I will have to change to idler and center link too?

If you have:
  • a 73-76 center link and idler arm
You want to run:
  • a small sector 72-down P/S or A/B/E body manual steering gear
You need:
  • 73-76 A-body manual pitman arm. Because the manual steering gears did not change their sector size in A/B/E models. AND those pitman to centerlink studs point downward.
