@pittsburghracer gone.

I have been praying that God's Holy Spirit be his
family's Comforter in their time of loss!

In Jesus's Holy Name I am asking this.

I am thankful John had the cats with Him and that he was not alone.

Same with Roy down in FL still missing him he was top shelf , had many dealings with him @ his GA base camp also.
You ain't kiddin. We've been to Nu Way in Macon many times eatin the best chili dogs on the planet. I miss Roy.

This is just a suggestion and I honestly have no idea how one would go about this. And I know there would be an element of timing here with family grieving etc.

But PBRs passion (or one of his passions anyway) was porting the SBM heads, and sharing general information that you would discover in this process. I wonder would it be possible to get ahold of one of his last copies and have someone digitize it and release the tool path files. This would become the PBR port file and could be a freeware of sorts you could take to a CNC operation and have them port the heads.

It would be a way for the guys legacy to live on indefinitely.

Alternatively you could also set it up so it's a downloadable file from a website the family has control over and it's a file that you would pay for which could help defray some costs.

Just an idea. Again I have no idea and I didn't know the guy personally. About all I could do is set up a website for hosting so if be willing to help there.

Someone else would have to take this up with I'm guessing his son.

RIP @pittsburghracer
I would be willing to get involved with this and commit some resources to it. We would have to come up with a set of heads, or at least one port in a head. Could even be one head to borrow for a little while. Anyone out there have one of his heads sitting around?

Let me know how I can help. I have a couple business websites, I could set up a little download hosting link.

LOVE good chili dogs.
Gonna dive in to the one just off the 475 bypass( Zebulon rd) and give them a try either on my way down, or back from Lights out at SGMP in late Feb, lord willing.
Looks like easy on, easy off.

Best time of the year to be @ that track !!! It's brutal during summer months there .

That's truly heartbreaking. One of many on here who was happy the help with my questions. My prayers go out for him and his loved ones.

Just got back from a week at the Texas Motorplex and after a crazy busy week I see this sad news. Hard to explain, but even though I only had a couple interactions with him I considered him a friend... that special kinship you have with fellow Mopar racers even though you've never met in person. R.I.P. John, you are - and will be - missed.

Sad , he was always willing to help others , he shared so much info , he will be missed . always loked forward to reading his posts
RIP

A very tech savvy guy. I would always read his posts on here. A lot of knowledge gone. May God comfort his family.
