I'm confident I can tune it into the 12s. And yes, a better converter will help. This was the first time out with the new motor. Previous best was a 15.35 so needless to say I was excited!

Well, Season is over and I never broke into the 12s. I learned alot, finally learned my Nitto Drag Radials will actually get traction at 24PSI with a hellacious burn out. The only real good thing to come out of my last track day was an 0023 light that won me 50 bucks for best RT of the day!

Blew up a lifter in my 413 and sent metal through it. now stock 383 with ported 906 heads, 474 purple cam ,torker intake and cheap roller rockers. So far 2 runs went from a 13.34@102 bumped up timing then went 13.11@103.

413 ran 12.38 in cool weather with stealth heads ,383 ran this in 85° 2,000DA.

want to thank everybody for the thumbs up ill keep you posted on our quest for 12's
a little update on our 69 DART took to norwalk for some tnt and with drag radials went from a 2.20 60 to a 1.8 and was falling on its nose at 5500 car would never rev past 5500 come to find out later that when i set rev limiter I set it at 5600 and not at 6500 car is set to shift at 5900 so next year I think we have 12's in the bag. Merry Christmas everyone and a safe and Happy New Year
