picture before I changed the wheels.

Now THAT, is one COOL RIDE !

I imagine you ain't on too many Ferd Guys X-mas Card Lists ?
Too Funny,
But, back in the 80's
I used to know a fella had a 440Mopar in a '66 Vette, used to drive the Chev Guys BONKERS !
especially since he was an excellent Racer, and usually won the Day Money.
People were pretty brand loyal in those days, and true to the times, a few "well meaning" Bowtie Racer affectionado's even tried "INTERVENTIONS" to CURE his misguided ways ?
What a hoot !

Yes I hear a bunch of weird stuff but I don't care what they think.I was looking for a tube chassis car with a strut and 4 link set up but Mopar tube chassis cars are alot of $.So these cars have what I wanted for pennies on the dollar and they just flat out work.

I live in Halliday,ND my home is in Minot(1/8 mile) but I go to Pierre,SD or Marion,SD which are 1/4 mile tracks more often.

8.03 at 174 mph on et streets and thru the muffs.
originally a 1971 dodge demon H coded original 340 car with original dash and vin tags, original 4 speed car.
Chassis built into stock body ( back halved)
2990 lbs with me in it and full fuel cell. ( 16 gals)
Now fiberglass doors hood,decklid,polycarboniite windows
It has been a race car it's entire life and sold new thru GSD. Title is still never been transfered from dealer. (ever)

It is now a 540 cu in all aluminum world products wedge, 8-71 blown and has the NOS supercharger nitrous setup under two 1050 dominators. Dana 60 with 3.90 gears and 21.50x33 mickey et streets. 727 trans with transbrake and 4800 stall, chute, fire system, mark williams 40 spline. wheelie bars,
fully caged and 4 linked rear with factory front torsion bar set up switched to the 6 cyl torsion bars and front sway bar removed and koni adjustable shocks up front.
MSD 7al2 with three step retard and it works in unison with the nitrous system..
custom probe pistons with ceramic coating on domes and under dome, teflon coated skirts.
Custom ground comp cams 783 lift solid roller shaft
Older milidon gear drive.. The list goes on.
Best time ever is 8 03 @174 at Orlando Speedworld, WITHOUT the nitrous..(the entire 1320 ft)
Car now being freshened up and gettting a paint job.
But with 9 other mopars in my collection, I have to pace myself to keep the peace with the wife!
This is one of the 5 demons that I own. The other 4 are all 340's that are still original, and two of them are the paxton supercharged 340s and a 71' six pack 340 demon in the bunch of demons I have.... along with a 1970 383 rt challenger, 1970 cuda 440 4 barrel, and 68 dart 440 GSS and a 1970 duster 340 body only.
Four of the five demons are original GSD cars when new, As is the 68 dart gss 440 also.

I have better pictures of this car posted on here and also moparts site showing motor and such bettern than this. This pic is the only one on this computer !!!
