I can't settle on one. So I have two that I would count as my favorites. The first was taken the first year I took my Dart to Carlisle after completing the project. This was taken in front of the Virginia Monument on Gettysburg National Battlefield at sunrise (I am a Virginian after all-and this is probably the favorite picture I have taken).
This second picture is my favorite taken by someone else. This is my daughter and I doing what we love to do most - get out and cruise. This also reflects the first time I ever drove my Dart in the rain.

This was the day we dropped the car onto my restored GTS. Got together one early Saturday morning, had a little breakfast and started in. That’s Neal on the right. He’s the head fabricator at the shop. Real old school guy. This picture was taken by the shop owner Nick. We had a great time, kinda like we use to when we were kids getting together and thrashing on our cars.
This is when I was checking ceiling clearance with my new 4 post lift. I just love the angle of this shot.
A co-worker snapped this one of me doing a burnout in the Chrysler Warranty Center parking lot before a warranty review...

1 bought my ‘71 Cuda (automatic, 383) in 1972. Drove the wheels off it while in the Navy and at college till 1978, when finances forced me to sell it to have the funds to finish college.

When I saw this funeral home in Stockbridge, I knew it was a great background for a pic of the GTX!

Since car shows were closed down we did cruises. The was one for first responders and healthcare workers appreciation.
My daughter is a nurse and my dad was a firefighter so it was special. Cruising with the wife and hound made for a great ride.

I had a discussion recently with a guy who was trying to sell his car, but wasn’t getting any interest. One look at his listing and I saw right away why....his pictures didn’t lend anything to the ad. When I take pictures of cars, I do a few “tricks” to make the car more presentable. Turning the tires in front, shooting a shot down the side, the old “fish eye” shot, bending down on one knee, stuff to make the car more interesting to the viewer. In his case to try to make a potential buyer see his dream car, and not just some cut up pictures of different areas.

Here’s a fun little comparison I did with just the front end of the RR. The first shot is the day I got it. It had been sitting in quiet isolation for 42 years, neglected and forgotten, you can see by the look on it’s face that it wasn’t a happy car. The next pic is just a couple weeks ago, all cleaned up and polished, broken emblem replaced, and looking like a much happier car.
The pictures seem to capture the personality of the car, the first one wearing a frown, the recent one almost a smile. I wish I would’ve taken photography in school, it’s fun to be creative and capture a good shot!
